The Curriculum Guide outlines graduation requirements and points out courses that will prepare you for post-high school studies.  We urge you to begin preparing for your post-high school level work today. Plan your educational program carefully. If you plan on going to college, choose courses that will help you with your university work. Avoid those classes that do not meet your long-range goals. If you make proper choices, you will be ready for admission to college, entry into the work force, or further vocational/high technology preparation.

In reviewing college admission standards most colleges are moving toward giving greater consideration to college preparatory courses than electives.
